See your notes the way you think

InkThorn adapts to how your mind works right now — structured or scattered, scheduled or freeform. Switch views without losing a single note.

📅
Daily

Today's focus plus a carry-over shelf for anything left unfinished. InkThorn shows you exactly what needs attention, day by day. Navigate the week strip to plan ahead or look back.

⊞
Kanban

Four columns — one per category — so you can drag and triage. High-priority notes float to the top. Completed notes fold away neatly behind a toggle. Drag to reorganize without a second thought.

A visual tile layout for when you want to scan, not sort. Great for idea dumps and brainstorms — notes cascade into columns by height and flow naturally.

List

Dense, fast, filterable. Filter by category, priority, due date, or search by keyword. The most efficient view when you know exactly what you're looking for.

📋
Playbook

Your curated strategy and reference documents — living guides you return to again and again, separate from day-to-day notes. A private reference library, neatly filed.

Where does this thought actually belong?

Every note gets filed into one of four categories — not arbitrary folders, but real modes of thinking. When you know where something lives, you know what to do with it.

Delegate
Hand It Off

Things that belong to someone else. Decisions waiting on another person, tasks to assign, calls to follow up on. If it requires someone else to move, it lives here.

Do the Work

Active tasks, current projects, things to build or ship. Not someday — this week. This is your execution pile. InkThorn files here when he hears task-oriented keywords.

Learn
Grow Your Mind

Books, articles, concepts, skills to develop. Anything where the point is understanding rather than doing. InkThorn keeps these separate so they don't get buried under tasks.

Think
Let It Breathe

Hypotheses, big questions, things you're not sure about yet. The slow-burn pile — ideas that need time before they become plans. Don't force them. Just file them.

What if we changed this? Consider the alternative Is this the right direction?

Not everything can be urgent

InkThorn uses a simple A / B / C priority system — fire-drill red, considered gold, or background slate. Set it when you write the note or update it any time. No overcomplication.

A — High
On fire. Act now.

Blockers, deadlines, and things that compound if ignored. Red means it lives at the top of every view until it's done. InkThorn does not let you pretend these don't exist.

B — Medium
Important. Soon.

Real work with breathing room. These don't need to be done today, but they shouldn't slide into next month either. Gold means it matters — just not right this second.

C — Low
Background. Whenever.

Nice-to-haves, long-term ideas, things that would be good if you got to them. Slate means it's filed, not forgotten — but it waits its turn without complaint.

Priority can be set in any view — or updated from Telegram.

He sends the past back. Daily.

Every morning at 10am, InkThorn digs through your older notes and sends one back to you unprompted. An idea you wrote six months ago. A task you deferred. A thought worth revisiting. Want more? Ask for another. He'll grumble, but he'll deliver.

Good ideas don't expire — they just get buried under new ones. InkThorn's resurrection engine tracks which notes you've already seen and rotates through your archive so nothing is permanently forgotten.

He shows up whether you asked for it or not. That's the point. Your future self will occasionally thank him. He won't acknowledge it.
